PRESS RELEASE

WISCASSET FORD TO SPONSOR 350 SMAC EVENT AT WISCASSET SPEEDWAY ON SATURDAY, JULY 6

WISCASSET, ME (March 28, 2019) - Local auto dealer Wiscasset Ford has signed on to sponsor the 350 Supermodified Atlantic Charter’s upcoming return to Maine’s Wiscasset Speedway on Saturday, July 6.

This season will mark the second time in as many years that 350 SMAC will make a visit to the ⅜ mile high banked oval on Maine’s coast. The tour is very much looking forward to its return to the Pine Tree State.

“350 SMAC is very excited about coming back to Wiscasset Speedway,” said public relations coordinator, Camden Proud. “Our event last season marked the first time 350 Supers had ever seen Wiscasset. Things went very well and we hope to make this an annual showing.”

350 SMAC WELCOMES BILL CALLEN AS 2019 EVENT COORDINATOR

On behalf of John Burke and the rest of the team at 350 SMAC, we would like to welcome Bill Callen as our event coordinator for the 2019 season.

Callen is best recognized for his 20 years of involvement with the Lee USA Speedway, including four years as general manager. He has worked with virtually every track in the Northeast, whether that be directly as an official or in providing communication support. In addition, he has spent time with ISMA, the Valenti Modified Racing Series, the Granite State Pro Stock Series, New England Truck Series, Classic Lights organization and the Tri Track Modified Series.

We are grateful to have Bill onboard for the upcoming season and look forward to working together on a fantastic 2019 schedule for 350 SMAC.
